Hand nails are very important part of the body. The color and shape of the nails not only defines the character and nature of the person, but indicates the future also. One can see lines on the nails if there is a problem in lungs and blood pressure. Patients suffering from breathing problem have small and wide nails. Patients of blood pressure and chest weakness have long nails.
Long nails which look towards the upper side of the body are the sign of diseases. A child with wide nails indicates tallness whereas people with thin and small nails are weak. People, who are mousy and whose muscles are gaunt have a white patch on their nails. Those who keep long nails is suffering from cough and throat inflammation. Small nails are the sign of logical and playful nature, such type of people are intelligent and they cannot believe anyone easily.
