The global cues made the Indian markets open in negative but the markets showed strength and bounced like a rubber from support levels of 5050 on nifty front.
Technically these levels are of crucial importance and would provide good supports in the coming sessions.
We have intimated on Monday that below 5190 and 5160 the pressure would increase and one can create convincing shorts , well the markets obliged and the strategy paid off.
After the shorts , we created longs around 5064 levels and again the strategy paid off.
Structurally the markets have seen a good correction in past few days with mid caps and small caps feeling the maximum heat.
However this correction seems to be a golden opportunity for picking up select midcaps and bottom fishing.
On technical parameters the indices have taken supports at 61.8% retracement levels and bounced.
