Whole of august has been hugely volatile in terms of indices movement and has been range bound but have seen good movements in stock specific activities and rise have been phenomenol in terms of percentage gains against indices.
However the august series closed lower which indicates some shorts in the system which is likely to be covered up or face a short squeeze in the coming sessions.
The indices have been looking tired above 5500 levels and we have been continuously saying that a sustainable close with volumes above 5525 is required to fuel the rally.
The indices reacted from the over bought zones which marks 18300-500 as stiff resistance zones on sensex front and 5550 on nifty front.
Well on the downside some buying must emerge at 5350 levels , but downsides gates are open , the lock to which can be known in nifty advance predictions.
Overall the market remains to be a stock pickers market and lots of opportunities prevail , so one must concentrate on stock specific activities , rather than looking at indices.
The Indian markets still have the undercurrent and potential to out bar every markets.
