Once again the markets opened with a mild bear gap and remain negatively subdued throughout the day , though not much pressure was witnessed among the markets.
The markets looks in a consolidation mode and is pausing as it had run up too much on the last day.

Technically the markets has the potential to touch 5400 levels on the nifty front and go beyond it and will try a shot at it.
On the lower side 5300 will act as good supports with bouts of volatility.
